Pastor Fred Pettet (Pastor Freddie) has ministered with the whimsical puppet “Gina the Bear” to children and schools across the country. Pastor Freddie received his B.S. degree in elementary education from Evangel University, Springfield, Missouri, and is a licensed minister with the Assembly of God. He has produced and starred in his own television shows with PTL, CBN, and TBN networks and has traveled throughout the United States, Canada, and nine foreign countries to present evangelistic programs to children, schools, and families. After serving as children’s pastor and family life coordinator in a few churches, Pastor Freddie came to First Assembly of God as the children and family life pastor in September of 2005. He and “Gina” have brought new energy to the children’s ministry with “Kids on the Rock Family Theme Park” (ages 6-12) and “Adventure Land” (ages 3-5). Pastor Freddie has a vision to reach out into the community with the gospel to children and families and to bring them to faith in Christ as well as strengthen family relationships within the nuclear family and church.
